Varia Mobile is a busines-to-business software development company specializing in building Linux-based mobile solutions. In September of 2007, Varia Mobile was divested from Tegic Communications (an AOL property) to form this new entity.

The Varia Mobile team has a long history of product development in the mobile space, including the first Linux-based celluar phone available in the consumer marketplace.

Currently, Varia Mobile is engaged with developing solutions that help to bring content providers, mobile operators and hardware manufacturers together to build innovative content rich applications for this ecosystem.
